The Reggio Emilia Approach: Reggio Alignment with Te Whāriki
In this webinar, across 7 modules, we will be looking at the Reggio Emilia approach and how it sits alongside Te Whāriki. This first module is an introduction, followed by the image of the child in module 2. From there we will explore module 3 and where Reggio and Te Whāriki meet followed by Reggio in Aotearoa practice in module 4. Module 5 explores weaving in Te Ao Māori. This then leads in to partnership with whānau and iwi in module 6. We finish with module 7 where we bring it all together.
We encourage you to watch all 5 Reggio Emilia webinars in this series: The Reggio Emilia Approach: History, Values and Principles, A Reggio-Inspired Responsive Curriculum, Inspired Reggio Environments, The Role of Provocations in Reggio Learning and Reggio Alignment with the New Zealand Curriculum, Te Whāriki.
